Actor Matthew McConaughey serves as Wild Turkey’s creative director. He made a surprise visit downtown in November 2018. People come from throughout the eastern United State to bungee jump off Young’s High Bridge over the Kentucky River. Rising Sons Winery is open for tastings daily, Tuesday-Sunday. The Lawrenceburg Fair and Horse Show, which has been around almost 150 years, is held the last week of June at the American Legion grounds. The Lawrenceburg/Anderson County Tourism office is located inside the Anderson County History Museum. The building was constructed in 1908 and was originally a Carnegie Library. The Wild Turkey Trace golf course is an 18-hole course located in Lawrenceburg and is open daily.
