Lisa Roper Wicker has over twenty years of experience in alcohol production, starting in farm wineries in Indiana and Kentucky before moving into distilling with Limestone Branch, Starlight Distillery, and founding Preservation Distillery — the first craft distillery in Nelson County. She later founded Saints & Monsters Consulting, focusing on product development, distillery startups, and whiskey blending.

Lisa has held leadership roles including President and Distiller at Widow Jane, where she oversaw whiskey sourcing and blending across four states, including the largest heirloom corn crop for whiskey in the U.S. She most recently served as CEO/Master Distiller of Lyons Brewing & Distilling, working with breweries and distilleries in Kentucky and Ireland. For seven years, she was Consulting Distiller for George Washington’s Distillery at Mount Vernon and was Highly Commended as an Icon of Whiskey. Widow Jane won multiple awards, including World’s Best Small Batch Bourbon(Whisky Magazine, 2022).

A recognized speaker and panelist, Lisa has presented at Whisky Fest New York, Tales of the Cocktail, New Orleans Bourbon Festival, World Whisky Forum, and more.

Lisa resides in Bardstown, Kentucky, and is a proud mom of three grown children, three daughters- and sons-in-law, and grandmother to three grandsons.
