Friday brings all the glamour of Oaks Day, where the finest 3-year-old fillies compete in a quest
for glory. Bask in your own sartorial glory, and wear your most stylish millinery. Suitably
“hatted” guests (sorry, ballcaps don’t cut it) have a chance to win LBC prize swag. Music will be
provided by Lawrenceburg native, Jeremy Zeller.
Lawrenceburg Bourbon Co. will release its inaugural, “Pour for the Roses”, bourbon – a commemorative release for the 150 th running of the Kentucky Derby. “Pour for the Roses” comes out the gate in new silks, at 8.5 years old and presented, single barrel and cask strength. LBC Founder and Wannabe Distiller, Greg Keeley selected this very special barrel from dozens of starters. Only 150 bottles were produced.“Pour for the Roses” is only available from the distillery. Each bottle will be hand signed, and presented in a burlap sack, reminiscent of a thoroughbred’s feed bag. A must-have for racing and bourbon enthusiasts alike.
