Are you intrigued by stories of ghosts, apparitions, strange noises and other paranormal activity?
If so, take a walk on Lawrenceburg’s wild side beginning Saturday, Aug. 28, when the Lawrenceburg Ghost Walk kicks off the 2021 season downtown, with 16 total walks scheduled through Oct. 30.
Local paranormal expert Jeff Waldridge leads the ghost walks and tells stories of history, mystery and hauntings in downtown Lawrenceburg. He presents paranormal evidence captured by experienced investigators and also talks about some of the city’s history. You’ll hear stories about hauntings at the Anderson Hotel, the former Anderson News building, Lawrenceburg City Hall, the Ballard Drug Store and the Anderson County Courthouse.
The walks begin at 8 p.m., starting at The Mix, located at 105 South Main Street. On Saturday, Sept. 25, during the Anderson County Burgoo Festival, there will be two walks, one beginning at 7 p.m. and the other at 9 p.m. Additional walks may be scheduled in October accommodate large crowds.
Admission to go on a walk is $10 and can be paid when you arrive by cash, credit or debit card. Call 502-510-8777 to reserve tickets.
