Light Up Lawrenceburg, the annual lighting of the Christmas lights along Main Street and the Green, has been scheduled for Monday, Nov. 25 from 6-7:30 p.m.
Activities kick off at 6 p.m., with Christmas songs on Main Street by the Lawrenceburg Academy of Performing Arts and the flipping of the switch to turn on the lights. Downtown shops will be open for early Christmas shopping and restaurants will be open for dinner.
New for 2019, Santa will be visiting with children on the stage at the Green after making a grand entrance and then helping turn on the lights there. It’s an arrival you won’t want to miss.
Other activities are also being planned, including a Santa Letters mailbox that will be set up downtown and left in place for a couple of weeks for kids to drop off their letters to Santa.
