The T.B. Ripy Home is a historic mansion located on South Main Street in Lawrenceburg.
The home was built by T.B. Ripy, one of the bourbon barons who resided in Lawrenceburg in the late 1880s. The home was completed in 1888. T.B. Ripy was regarded at the time as one of the largest sour mash distillers in the world.
The Ripy family sold the home in 1965. It was repurchased in 2010 ago by two of Mr. Ripy’s great grandsons and has been restored to much of its original brilliance.
The home is located on a six-acre lot and is nestled among mature trees. It is a perfect venue for weddings, showers, reunions and music events, both in the home or on any part of the 6 acres surrounding the house.
The house offers a large dining room, living room, parlor, beautiful foyer, a full kitchen, his/her restrooms and changing rooms.
The home is licensed to serve alcohol beverages, if desired. This lovely historic mansion adds a hint of nostalgia to any event.
