Summer Fest Small Town Throwdown

Pickin’ on the Porch at the Ripy House
Lawrenceburg's Ripy House, the house that bourbon built, has the perfect porch for entertaining, which is why it will host a bluegrass music event featuring Tin Whiskey Sisters, Top Shelf Bluegrass, and other local favorites. Costumes aren’t just for kids. Oct. 25 will be the fourth annual dress up night hosted by downtown Lawrenceburg’s merchants and restaurants. Wear your best pirate, ninja, or superhero gear and participate in the costume contest. Main Street will be closed for the evening and there will be a DJ, a witches dance, and other activities. 36th Annual Anderson Co. Chamber of Commerce Christmas Gala
Come out to the most spectacular event of the year! This year's theme is "Masquerade Christmas". The Anderson County Chamber of Commerce will be hosting an elegant, semi-formal evening, complete with dinner, awards, and dancing. Business attire or ball gowns/suits and masks are suitable but not required. Tickets are $50 each for members and $60 each for non-members. Silent and live auction will be part of the evening events.

Boots & Bourbon Songwriter Festival
Mark your calendars for October 24 for the second annual Boots & Bourbon Nashville Songwriters Festival, which will be back at the Barn at McCall Springs in Lawrenceburg. Boots & Bourbon features some of the country's top song writers sharing their songs and the stories behind them. For 2020, the song writers will include Wendell Mobley, Lee Miller and Paul Overstreet.
