Are you ready for the return of the Wildman?
From May 31-June 2, downtown Lawrenceburg will again play host to a festival honoring the legend of bigfoot, who has been the subject of more reported sightings in Anderson County than anywhere in Kentucky.
James “Bobo” Fay from Animal Planet’s Finding Bigfoot is returning again to this year’s festival to offer his expertise on the subject of bigfoot, sasquatch, or whatever you want to call the furry fella.
Whether you are a believer or a skeptic, you’ll find plenty to keep you entertained during the three-day street festival.
There will be live music, karaoke, presentations about Bigfoot, a Wildman calling contest, judging for best beard and hairiest man, other wacky contests and more.
There are already 50 unique vendors signed up to offer everything from Bigfoor apparel to handmade décor to kids crafts. Additional vendors are also being accepted. You’ll also eat well at the food booths that will be set up.
And for those who aren’t scared, there is the Wildman 5K fun run. Preregister and be guaranteed a Wildman 5K t-shirt. Day of registrations will receive a t-shirt on a first come/first served basis.
